Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff and Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton were introduced as Black Widow and Hawkeye in the MCU's Phase 1, and the pair went on to become founding Avengers, and core heroes in the Infinity Saga. Phase 4 delivered Romanoff and Barton's first solo MCU projects, Black Widow and Hawkeye, respectively, but these projects also introduced replacements for these original Avengers, who would make a great partnership in the MCU's future.
Following their debuts in the MCU's Phase 4, Black Widow's Yelena Belova and Hawkeye's Kate Bishop have been imagined in a new fan-made poster shared by soloauthority. This poster cleverly combines the color palettes of Black Widow and Hawkeye, bringing together the red and white of Yelena Belova's debut MCU story, and the purple of Kate Bishop's own costume.
This art imagines Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova and Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop teaming up in a dedicated Black Widow & Hawkeye project, which could be produced as a sequel to Marvel Studios' Black Widow movie and Hawkeye Disney+ series from 2021.

Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel and Cassie Lang have been teased as the first three members of the Young Avengers, but other young heroes are sure to join them in upcoming MCU projects. Although an actual Young Avengers project hasn't been confirmed, Marvel Studios could bring both Yelena Belova's Black Widow and Kate Bishop's Hawkeye back to the MCU before the Multiverse Saga concludes.
